The Assam government has launched the Jibon Prerana Scheme to provide a one-time financial assistance of 2500 rupees to job-seeking graduate students every month. What is the Jibon Prerana Scheme ?
This scheme provides a one-time financial assistance of 2500 Taka every month to help graduates who are hopeful of getting a job in the state’s job market. This way, students earning a graduate degree in the state can benefit. The main goal of the Jibon Prerana Scheme is to partially make the youth who obtain a graduate degree in the state self-reliant and provide them with financial support until they gain employment.
Jeevan Prerana Scheme Announcement and Government Budget :
The budget is currently being discussed by Finance Minister Ajanta Neog, which was announced on March 10, 2025. A budget of 250 crore rupees has been approved under this scheme.
